My Mission

To support families with Childhood Cancer

I am a Long Distance Motorcycle Rider (LDR), participating in the 2026 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge™, an event that spans 10,000 miles in just 10 days, across North America on a route comprised of backroads and local highways. I am riding to raise support and awareness for childhood cancer. Connecting with people and raising support, to help children, and their family’s, diagnosed with pediatric cancer live their best life. I ride in honor of my son Christian, a cancer survivor, and I am fundraising for “Candlelighters for Children with Cancer”, an organization that provided hope for my son and family, and families like ours, through the darkest of times. Christian’s Story

On Easter Sunday 2014, with his fifth birthday just days away, our son Christian’s life changed forever. A day that started with fatigue, nausea, and a grey pallor, ended in the hospital with a terrifying diagnosis: lymphoblastic leukemia. For the next six years, Randall Children’s Hospital would become his second home. But through the pain and confusion, there was always love—and hope. Alongside us stood “Candlelighters for Children with Cancer”, an organization that became a lifeline in our personal storm. From care packages to events and family outings, they reminded Christian that he was still a kid allowed to laugh, dream, and feel seen, and reminded our whole family we were not alone.

After six difficult years, Christian was declared in full remission. He is 16 now, learning how to drive an automobile, thriving—keeping up with his studies, socializing, excelling in baseball, and dreaming big about the future. Christian’s story is one of hope, courage, and community. Candlelighters was there when Christian and our family needed them most. This is why I am doing all that I can to pay it forward so that other families battling pediatric cancer can benefit from all the services Candlelighters has to offer. I ask you to join in support of this fantastic organization. Please click the link above or here and donate today.

The Fed Logo. My road name is “Fed”. I was affectionately named “The Fed” by my fellow Mile Monster Inc. long distance riders, although I am not affiliated with law enforcement. Evidently, they felt that I look like a cop, with strong build, proclivity to keeping trimmed facial hair, and a tight haircut. Once my MC buddy’s got wind of the nickname, laughter ensued and it quickly became a moniker that I could not escape from. So I decided to embrace it. It is now my sticker logo, adorning conspicuous places throughout the Nation.
